Kitchen +Hell's starting to cool down
On Saturday, Nov 18, I took these photos. 
It has been a very long time to get to this point, and it sill looks like there's a ways to go.
But, here we are. In these views, we still need significant work on the walls to patch stuff up, the hood needs to be installed and the tile is nowhere to be seen. Oh, and there's some electrical work needed.
By Tuesday, Nov. 21, things were looking a bit better.
(Same picture, different lighting). You can see the hood and the the tile is installed. The lights are fully recessed and the tile is mostly in. Still to go are the grouting, some more electrical sockets, the appliance installs and, sigh, the hood is twisted by an inch and a half so it needs to be reseated. Progress is being made, but I'm not sure I'll have a laundry room for this weekend. Grrrrr.
Still, Dec 7 is when the countertops go in and very shortly after that I want the finish carpentry to be done.
